WithumSmith+Brown is seeking a Tax Senior in Braintree, MA to lead multi-faceted tax engagements and oversee staff. You will prepare and review complex tax returns, advise on planning opportunities, and help clients navigate state and federal tax regulations within a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes oversight, mentoring, and client relationship building, with a focus on delivering accurate, timely tax strategies and results in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• 3–5 years of prior experience in a public accounting tax department.
• Licensed CPA or working towards CPA certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare complex individual, trust, partnership and corporate tax returns.
• Review mid-level complexity tax returns for accuracy.
• Research and draft memos on complex tax matters.
• Identify tax planning opportunities.
• Handle and resolve tax controversies.
• Manage multiple engagements with various teams to meet deadlines.
• Supervise, train and support staff and collaborate with management.
