Job summary

Sherwood Staffing Partners is seeking a Tax Senior for its family-owned CPA firm in Norwalk, CT. The role involves handling a diverse mix of returns and working directly with clients on engagements from start to finish.

You will prepare and review federal and state returns for individuals, trusts, and businesses, mentor junior staff, and help with tax planning and research. CPA or progress toward it is preferred, with strong client-facing communication.

Qualifications

• Public accounting tax experience required.
• Experience with individual and business tax returns; trusts/estates a plus.
• CPA or working toward it preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state returns (1040, 1041, 1120, 1120S, 1065).
• Serve as a point of contact for clients and nurture relationships.
• Lead engagements and mentor junior staff.
