Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of public accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; master’s degree acceptable for advanced roles.
• CPA license current or in progress; good standing with AICPA if licensed.
• Minimum of 40 hours of continuing professional education per year.

Responsibilities

• Performs diversified accounting and tax assignments under supervision.
• Demonstrates technical skill, work quality, and adherence to firm standards.
• Directs and instructs assistants; reviews work and guides revisions.
• Prepares and indexes working papers; verifies accuracy under GAAP.
• Prepares complicated tax returns including dissolution or liquidation.
• Proposes tax planning ideas to supervisors or partners.
