Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Our client, a non-Big 4 public accounting firm, is seeking a Tax Senior to join their CPA firm.

• Develop and implement tax minimization strategies for clients.
• Deliver exceptional client service while aligning with the firm’s practices, policies, and culture.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships by exhibiting professional competence and expertise.
• Assist in designing tax strategies and continuously re-evaluate plans as needed.
• Act as a key liaison between senior leadership and the tax team to ensure seamless client service delivery.
• Supervise, train, and review the work of tax staff, fostering their development.
• Identify client needs and opportunities to expand consulting services.
• Conduct performance evaluations constructively and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
• Maintain required annual CPE credits.
• 4+ years’ experience in public accounting.
• CPA/EA preferred but not required.
• MBA, MS Taxation is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Broad knowledge of tax principles and regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to review and provide feedback on tax work in a professional manner.
• Ability to manage client relationships and oversee projects within budgets and deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in tax software
• Experience working with various industries, including construction, real estate, government, estate and trust planning, S-corporations, and pass-through entities.
