We are a midsize public accounting firm located in Indianapolis with about 60 employees. We offer Tax, Audit, Financial planning, and bookkeeping services for our clients. Our clientele includes private sector entities such as HNWIs, closely held businesses, corporations, and non-profits. We promote a flexible hybrid or fully remote work environment, with a preference for local employees to attend major events and meetings. Our culture is welcoming and collaborative, emphasizing a healthy work-life balance. We aim to keep busy season hours within 45-50 hours and outside of busy season around 35-40 hours, with options to cap hours at 40 during busy season if preferred.
Our tax team is growing but remains manageable to ensure quality work and employee satisfaction. We offer strong benefits and a clear path to partnership. We seek experienced managers eager to become future firm leaders.
What You Need for this Position:
- 3+ years of experience in Public Tax and Accounting (individual, corporate, and partnerships).
- CPA Required
- Extensive experience with staff in planning, performing, and completing Tax engagements.
- Ability to develop professional relationships with clients.
- Passion for developing team members.
- Expertise in tax return preparation and review, especially for individual and fiduciary returns.
- Experience in developing best practices, training, mentoring, and team project management.
