Tax Senior Associate, State & Local Tax - Income / Franchise (Remote Option)

Join KPMG US as a Tax Senior Associate, State & Local Tax - Income / Franchise (Remote Option).

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting multi-state companies with state and local income tax compliance.
2. Assisting clients with tax issues related to state and local income and franchise taxes.
3. Reviewing state income and franchise tax estimated payments, extensions, and tax returns.
4. Handling notices received from state tax authorities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum three years of recent experience preparing/reviewing state income tax returns and advising on multi-state tax issues.
• Masters degree preferred; Bachelors with requisite hours for CPA or JD/LLM; CPA certification a plus.
• Experience reviewing state income tax returns required.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and tax research skills.
• Ability to perform in a high-energy team environment.
