Job summary

CBIZ is seeking a staff-level professional to complete accounting, tax, and audit engagements for clients in a timely, high-quality manner. You will update engagement managers, understand client business context, and help manage budgets while mentoring junior staff.

The role involves reviewing associates’ work, potentially supervising engagements, and contributing to client billing and business development activities as needed. Travel will be required based on client and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Master's degree in Accounting/Taxation or related field preferred.
• 2 years of experience in public accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Complete all aspects of accounting, tax and audit engagements for clients, including status updates to engagement managers and adherence to quality control standards.
• Demonstrate understanding of the client’s business, including analysis and planning of client engagements.
• Adhere to engagement budget constraints and complete assigned tasks within the time requested; explain variances as needed.
• Review associates' accounting, tax or auditing work and provide constructive feedback.
• May supervise associates on engagements; train and mentor associate staff.
