Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 2–4 years of tax experience in public accounting.
• Active CPA license or working toward CPA; Enrolled Agent (EA) accepted.
• Well-rounded knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations.
• Stays up-to-date on tax industry regulations and policies.
• Self-starter who works well independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, business and other tax returns for clients across entities and industries.
• Collaborate with tax team on planning, client interaction, and special tax projects.
• Gather relevant tax information from clients to ensure accurate returns.
• Identify opportunities to maximize tax benefits across engagements.
• Develop solutions and communicate them to engagement teams and clients.
• Train and mentor junior staff in the tax department.
• Attend seminars, training, and networking events.
