Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA license preferred; EA certification accepted.
• 2–4 years tax experience in public accounting.
• Solid knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with evolving tax regulations.
• Self-starter who works independently and in a team.
• Ability to focus on complex tasks and follow compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, business and other tax returns for clients.
• Collaborate with tax team on planning, client interactions and projects.
• Gather relevant tax information from clients for accurate returns.
• Analyze tax positions to maximize benefits.
• Develop solutions and communicate them to the team and client.
• Prepare accounting-related reports in a paperless environment.
• Train and mentor junior staff in the tax department.
• Attend training seminars and professional development events.
