Responsibilities:

1. Prepare, review, and analyze fiduciary income tax returns for trusts and estates, including Form 1041, Form 706, Form 706-GS(T), Form 8971, and Form 1040 for decedents.
2. Manage a book of business and supervise tax return preparation by associates.
3. Utilize Thomson Reuters OneSource Trust Tax platform and other technologies for client service.
4. Communicate proactively with management about potential issues and contribute to team’s tax technical knowledge.
5. Respond to inquiries from IRS and other authorities.
6. Stay updated on tax developments and data maintenance.

Qualifications:

1. At least three years of experience in public accounting or working with trusts and estate income tax returns.
2. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields; accounting and taxation preferred.
3. Must have or be pursuing CPA or EA licensure; completion prior to start preferred.
4. Experience with Thomson Reuters OneSource Trust Tax platform and knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code related to trusts and estates.
5. Excellent communication, time management, leadership skills, and ability to work independently.
6. Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
