Job summary

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree, license eligible.
  • 3+ years of federal tax experience in public accounting.
  • CPA or Bar eligibility preferred; ability to sit for CPA/Bar exams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide federal tax compliance and advisory services to middle-market clients (S-corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations).
  • Participate in tax research, draft IRS responses, and support other inquiries.
  • Collaborate with leaders on complex tax issues across states, international matters, and credits.
  • Develop recommendations for clients and share with leadership for strategy.
  • Mentor and support team development under Baker TillyCare-and-Teach philosophy.
