Leoforce is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our legal-industry team in Athens, GA. The permanent role focuses on preparing tax returns, planning, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

You will work closely with professionals and clients to deliver accurate tax solutions. The ideal candidate has at least five years in public accounting, a Bachelor's in Accounting (Master's or CPA preferred), and proficiency with tax software.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• A Master's degree in Taxation or a CPA designation is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or a similar role within the legal industry.
• Proficient in tax preparation software and experience with tax forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and S-Corp.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret tax laws and provide practical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review complex tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, S-Corp) for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
• Conduct tax research and planning to optimize tax strategies for clients.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Respond to IRS and state tax agency notices and inquiries.
• Provide tax advisory services to clients, including planning, research, and compliance.
• Collaborate with team members to provide high-quality client service.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Assist with special projects and tax-related issues as needed.
