A leading recruiting firm in Chicago is seeking a Tax Senior to play a high-impact role in tax reporting and compliance. This full-time position offers a salary range of $95,000 to $105,000 plus bonuses. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 3 years of public accounting experience and CPA certification preferred. The role involves working closely with various teams and mentoring junior staff within a supportive and collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Experience with state and local taxes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support quarterly and annual tax reporting and testing.
• Assist with tax data for acquisitions and dispositions.
• Review tax payments across multiple jurisdictions.
• Partner with Accounting, FP&A, and Capital teams.
• Review depreciation and prepare investor tax estimates.
• Respond to tax notices and investor questions.
• Mentor junior tax staff.
