Jackson Hewitt is seeking a Tax School Facilitator to deliver engaging tax education on-site at multiple locations, including TX and IN. You will teach federal and state tax concepts, lead discussions, and assess student progress.

The role emphasizes classroom management, clear communication, and staying current with IRS updates to ensure accurate instruction. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year prior teaching and the ability to speak and facilitate a small group of students (5–10)
• Previous teaching, training, or instructional experience preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to break down learnings and explain lessons
• Proficiency with computers, software and presenting
• Patient, motivating, and student-focused demeanor
• 6 week course, 6.5 teaching hours per week in office

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging, structured tax education courses to students of varying experience levels
• Teach core tax concepts including federal and state income tax preparation, deductions, and credits
• Facilitate classroom discussions, exercises, and hands-on tax return practice
• Evaluate student progress through assessments, quizzes, and feedback
• Maintain an organized and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning
• Stay current on IRS tax laws, regulations, and updates to ensure accurate instruction
• Collaborate with management to align curriculum with Jackson Hewitt standards and training materials
