Job summary

Cherry Bekaert is seeking a Resource Manager to support our Tax Practice in a hybrid work environment. The role focuses on aligning talent with business needs, improving utilization, and delivering data‑driven insights for engagement success and financial performance.

You will collaborate with Tax Practice leaders and engagement teams to drive efficiency, analyze utilization data, and support staffing decisions across locations. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of resource management, scheduling, or related activities in professional services.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office with data presentation skills.
• Excellent analytical, forecasting, and problem‑solving abilities with data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Tax Practice leaders and engagement teams to understand business needs and drive consistency across locations.
• Analyze scheduling, utilization, and forecasting data to support staffing decisions and improve workforce planning.
• Monitor staff workloads and address scheduling conflicts to ensure balanced utilization.
• Align resources based on skillset, experience, and geography to maximize client outcomes and efficiency.
• Generate and interpret reports on productivity, utilization, profitability, and availability.
• Facilitate scheduling discussions and follow up on staffing challenges to ensure timely resolution.
