Job summary

DH Tax And Consulting LLC is seeking an experienced Settlement Officer in our Tax Resolutions Department to handle inbound client inquiries and guide individuals through IRS and state tax relief options.

The role offers a steady flow of qualified leads, a signing bonus, and strong earning potential in a high-volume environment for candidates with tax resolution or IRS collections experience.

Qualifications

• Prior tax resolution intake or sales experience is required.
• Knowledge of IRS collections procedures and tax resolution strategies.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with IRS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound inquiries from prospective tax resolution clients.
• Conduct initial intake and fact-finding calls for IRS/state issues.
• Educate clients on options such as installment agreements, CNC, offers in compromise, penalty abatement.
• Explain the firm’s process and next steps to clients.
• Document client information and hand off to resolution staff.
