Tax Provision & Financial Reporting
- Run the provision: Prepare and review the quarterly and annual global income tax provision under ASC 740—current and deferred tax, valuation allowances, and uncertain tax positions—plus the 10-Q and 10-K footnotes that tie, roll forward, and reconcile.
- Bring it all together: Execute the U.S. and non-U.S. consolidation in OTP, review regional reporting packages, and chase down entity-level variances until every number lands cleanly.
- Follow the cash: Prepare or review the tax account reconciliations, cash tax payments, and payable balances—no unexplained gaps, no surprises.
- Keep reserves honest: Perform the quarterly tax reserve analysis, including interest and penalties, and keep documentation current.
- Close the loop on returns: Prepare and review provision-to-return analyses and book the true-ups.
- Forecast the rate: Maintain interim and annual ETR and cash tax forecasts in OTP for both ASC 740 and non-GAAP measures.
- Transactions: Prepare the tax accounting analysis for acquisitions, restructurings, held-for-sale and discontinued operations, carve-outs, and any other significant transactions in the quarter with the support of outside service providers, as needed.
