Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a Tax Accounting and Risk Senior Manager to lead complex tax accounting solutions, oversee the provision process, and strengthen tax controls. You will work with leaders to advise clients on tax provision, reporting improvements, and risk mitigation, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Typically, 5–7 years of relevant tax experience.
• CPA certification or licensed attorney status required.
• Return to Provision Reconciliation and Deferred Tax Accounting knowledge.
• Tax accounting and provisions experience.
• Experience with tax reform calculations and legislation impact.
• Knowledge of ASC 740 and IAS 12 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships.
• Ensure quality and risk management across activities.
• Identify and implement improvements to tax reporting and control environment.
• Drive solutions for complex tax provisioning and compliance.
• Travel 50%+ and work on out-of-town projects.
