We’re seeking an experienced International Tax Provision Consultant to step into a key review and advisory role during a fiscal year-end close for a publicly listed company headquartered in Australia.You'll take the lead in reviewing the international tax provision prepared under US GAAP and IFRS, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness. Additionally, you’ll play a strategic role in identifying and suggesting process improvements within the existing provision workflow.If you're a seasoned tax professional with a passion for precision and process improvement, we’d love to connect and share more details. • Interim International Tax Provision Consultant - Reviewer
• Location: Fully Remote
• Commitment: 40–50 hours/week (up to 60 during peak periods)
• Duration: 5 months
• Start Date: June 15, 2025
• Rate: $170-$215 per hour dependent on experience

Responsibilities:

• Review international tax provision workpapers and calculations
• Ensure compliance with ASC 740 and IFRS tax accounting standards
• Partner with internal teams to enhance reporting processes and controls
• Recommend improvements to current provision methodologies and tools
• Support knowledge transfer and provision process documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive experience reviewing international tax provisions
• Strong technical expertise in ASC 740 and IFRS
• Proficiency with OneSource Tax Provision preferred
• Proven track record in provision process improvement
• Prior experience in an in-house corporate tax department and in a Big 4 setting preferred
