H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional in Georgia to interview clients, prepare returns, and drive client growth. You’ll join a team with advanced tax training and support, delivering high-quality service across diverse tax scenarios.

The role emphasizes client relationships, tax planning, and coordination with franchisee offices to ensure accurate filings and excellent service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is preferred/required.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews and assisting clients remotely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support, including audit representation where applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

Your Expertise:

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
