Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. in Winchester, IN seeks a seasonal Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll conduct tax interviews face-to-face and virtually, prepare complete and accurate returns, and help grow the client base with additional products and services.

The role requires at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA or EA certification preferred, and experience handling complex returns. Excellent communication and mentoring skills are valued.

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.

Your Expertise

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environmentComfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
