H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to work with a team that provides advanced tax training and strong client service. You will conduct interviews, prepare returns and support clients with IRS needs, while aiming to grow the client base.

Qualified candidates have CPA/EA, 5+ years in accounting/tax, and experience with virtual interview formats. This role emphasizes offering additional products and building client relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

Your Expertise

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environmentComfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
