H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and to deliver advanced tax training provided by the team. You will build client relationships that grow stronger each year as you help clients with individual, trust or partnership returns and related planning.

The role emphasizes conducting interviews, preparing returns, and supporting client growth while operating within a supportive franchise network and training framework.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

Your Expertise

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environmentComfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
