Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You will conduct interviews, prepare returns, and provide IRS support with the help of an expert team and advanced tax training.

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA/EA, and 5+ years in accounting or tax. Franchise office may set its own hiring decisions; enrollment in HRBlock courses is not a guarantee of employment.

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.

Your Expertise

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment2
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
