H&R Block is seeking an experienced Tax Professional to join our seasonal team in Kentucky. You will serve clients with diverse tax needs and receive advanced training to help you succeed.

Role emphasizes conducting virtual tax interviews, preparing complete returns, and delivering exceptional client service while growing our business and supporting colleagues through mentorship and collaboration.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience handling complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

Your Expertise

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environmentComfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
