H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You will work with a supportive expert team and receive advanced tax training to help you succeed.

You’ll conduct tax interviews, prepare returns and assist with IRS notices, while aiming to grow the business and strengthen client relationships. Prior CPA/EA or strong tax experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience with virtual tax interviews and tax planning.
• Experience with audit support and IRS processes.

Your Expertise

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environmentComfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
