Security Finance is seeking a Tax Processing Supervisor in Spartanburg, SC to lead our seasonal tax team and ensure all IRS, state, and internal requirements are met. This high‑impact role supports our national tax program and coordinates with the branch network.

You’ll guide training, review returns, and assist with complex items such as itemized deductions and self‑employment, while maintaining data accuracy and compliance in Drake Tax Software and related systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in tax processing required or preferred.
• Ability to follow IRS/state guidelines and internal policies.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Experience with training staff is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the seasonal tax team.
• Assist branch personnel with federal and state returns using Drake Tax Software.
• Review tax forms for accurate data entry and compliance.
• Provide phone and email support to branches on tax law and forms.
• Assist with audits and reconciliation of returns.
• Support rollout of tax training and materials.
