Job summary

Sorren is seeking an administrative support professional in Colorado to print and organize tax returns, prepare organizers, and maintain client files. You will assist with tax season logistics, invoicing, and front desk duties as needed, contributing to accurate, timely client service.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to adapt to peak periods during tax season. Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour, with benefits for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

  • Print, assemble, and organize tax returns and related client documents.
  • Prepare and distribute tax organizers and client materials.
  • Organize SurePrep workpapers and store documents in firm systems.
  • Assist with organizing tax records and processing documentation.
  • Sort and distribute mail and packages; handle outgoing mail and shipments.
  • Support invoicing and client delivery processes with complete documentation.

Position Summary: Your Impact (Essential Duties)
  • Print, assemble, and organize tax returns and related documentation for delivery to clients.
  • Prepare and distribute tax organizers and other client materials as directed.
  • Print and organize SurePrep workpapers and ensure documents are properly stored within firm systems.
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining tax records, files, and processing documentation.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages.
  • Prepare outgoing mail, certified mail, courier shipments, and tax return deliveries.
  • Support invoicing and client delivery processes by ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Assist with tax season logistics and administrative support activities.
  • Communicate processing status and outstanding items to team members as needed.
  • Follow established procedures and quality standards to ensure accurate and timely completion of work.
  • Support a positive team environment by collaborating effectively and assisting others during peak periods.
  • Identify errors or processing issues and bring them to the attention of leadership.
  • Maintain familiarity with firm systems, workflows, and processing procedures.
  • Assist with front desk; answer calls and greet clients.
  • Perform other duties and display flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadership.
Your Background
  • Previous experience in an administrative, processing, clerical, or office support role preferred; experience within a public accounting or professional services environment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks while managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and team-oriented approach.
  • Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems, software, and firm processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with tax software, document management systems, or workflow tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrated reliability, dependability, and commitment to following established procedures and quality standards.
  • Ability to handle confidential client and firm information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support team members during peak periods, including tax season.
  • Desire to learn, develop new skills, and build expertise within tax processing and administrative operations.

Colorado compensation range for this role is $21.00-$25.00/ per hour. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Discretionary incentive compensation is based on firm, group, and individual performance.
