The role offers a prominent partner-track path with a compensation range of $170,000 to $200,000, primarily remote with some office time in busy months. Local Bay Area presence is required, with a lean team and an emphasis on practical ideas over bureaucracy.

Qualifications

• Managerial experience in a tax/consulting setting.
• CPA or EA certification required or in process.
• Strong ability to provide strategic tax planning and client leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule tax engagements for clients.
• Lead complex tax issues and ensure quality of outputs.
• Provide business advice and tax strategy for privately held companies and owners.
• Mentor and provide feedback to tax staff.
