Job summary

My Financial Coach (MFC), based in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a contractor to join our founding team alongside CFPs and tax professionals. You will help ensure accurate tax filings from 1040s to K-1s and discuss tax planning with Holistiplan and ProSystemFX.

The role offers a $2,500 monthly retainer (paid on the 15th and month-end) plus $100 per completed filing, with potential for a full-time leadership position. One in-office day per week is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with ProSystemFX Tax Software
• 2 years of experience with Holistiplan Tax Planning Software
• Basic computer skills with a laptop
• Experience with filing business tax returns as well as personal tax returns
• Experience with itemized deductions

Based out of Phoenix, Arizona, and servicing the whole United States, My Financial Coach's planning service is a membership fee-based financial planning company. As such, our coaching model takes into account workplace benefits, business entities set up by our clients, as well as areas that other advisors may not have worked on with their clients.

The Role:

Working alongside a team of CFP®s and tax professionals, you will help make sure that we are crossing our T's and dotting our I's from 1040s to K1s and beyond! This role is meant to lead to a full-time role and eventual leadership roles.

Contractor Role:

$2,500 a month retainer paid on the 15th and the end of the month (subject to holidays and/or weekend restrictions)

+ $100 per completed filing per client (paid on a bi-monthly basis)

Contract Responsibilities:

• One in-office workday a week preferred but not required (subject to holidays or personal request days and at the discretion of the Chief Operating Officer)
• Filing and/or review of all MFC client tax returns
• Ability to answer emails and/or inquiries from clients based on any concerns arising from the client tax filing situations.
• Quarterly meetings with Enpo to go over the potential for a full-time role based on desire or capacity needs

Minimum Experience level:

• 2 years of experience with CCH: ProSystemFX Tax Software
• 2 years of experience with Holistiplan Tax Planning Software
• Basic computer skills with a laptop
• Experience with filing business tax returns as well as personal tax returns
• Experience with itemized deductions

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• 5 + years of experience withCCH: ProSystemFX Tax Software
• CPA designation or EA designation
• Experience using or reading Holistiplan software
• Experience with Google Workspace Software
• Ability to visit the office

We will review this contract on an annual basis starting on the start date of the contract to make any changes necessary. However, based on our operational need and joint agreement, we can make changes to the specifications of the contract via addendum or operational processes and the exploration of a new and full-time contract
