Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. in Vermont is seeking a data-entry driven Tax Interview Assistant to help begin each tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.

You will finish the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, reviewing the final product with the client, and supporting bookkeeping procedures while delivering superior service to every client in Middlebury.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program to begin the interview.
• Assemble the tax return and obtain required signatures at interview close.
• Review the finished product with the client and complete bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.

Your Expertise

• Additional state and local requirements may apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional course work in math, accounting, or finance

Pay Range

$19.00 - $21.00/Hr.
