Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. in Laconia, NH seeks an entry role to support tax interview processes and data entry. You will enter client and W-2 information into the tax program and help ensure data accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and math skills to start and finish tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program at the start of the interview.
• Assemble the tax return, obtain signatures, and review the finished product with the client.
• Perform bookkeeping procedures as part of closing the interview.
• Assist with other duties as assigned to ensure superior service for H&R Block clients.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program

• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures

• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service

• All other duties as assigned

Your Expertise

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview

• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone

• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs

• Additional state and local requirements may apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional course work in math, accounting, or finance
