Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. in Columbus Junction, IA is looking for an entry-level Tax Assistant to support the tax interview process. You will enter client and W-2 data, help assemble returns, and obtain signatures at the interview closing.

You will review the completed tax return with clients and complete basic bookkeeping procedures, ensuring each client receives excellent service. Windows experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.
