Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to support the tax interview process in our Texas location.

You will help enter client and W-2 information into the tax program and assist with assembling tax returns, obtaining signatures, and reviewing the finished product with clients. You will also complete bookkeeping procedures and ensure each client receives superior service while complying with state and local requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program at the start of the interview.
• Assemble the tax return and obtain required signatures at interview closing.
• Review the completed tax return with the client.
• Complete bookkeeping procedures.
• Provide superior service to H&R Block clients.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
