The candidate should have an active CPA or EA license with 5–7 years of public accounting tax experience across individuals, fiduciaries, and small businesses.

Qualifications

• Active CPA or EA license
• Five to seven (5-7) years of recent experience in public accounting, with a focus on preparing federal individual, fiduciary, and small business tax returns (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnerships)
• Ability to work and deliver the quality product under tight timeframes
• Excellent communication skills must be a team player
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience in tax software

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop tax team by sharing expertise and training.
• Collaborate with wealth advisors to implement tax strategies that fit client plans.
• Build strong client relationships by providing reliable tax advice and being a main contact for planning and compliance.
• Review and sign complex tax returns—individual, fiduciary, and small business—with accuracy and client alignment.
• Coordinate tax planning activities, including quarterly estimates, projections, and year-end strategies.
• Contribute to process improvements by identifying efficiencies and adopting new tools and workflows.
• Communicate clearly through client emails, memos, and planning documents.
• Promote collaboration between tax and wealth teams by fostering open communication
