  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in tax software

Manager, Tax Practice

An experienced CPA or Enrolled Agent who thrives on collaboration, leadership, and client impact. In this role, you’ll help guide our growing tax team, work hand-in-hand with wealth advisors, and deliver thoughtful tax planning and compliance strategies that support our clients’ broader financial goals. What You'll Do
  • Support and manage tax team members by sharing technical expertise, assisting with training, and contributing to a collaborative learning environment
  • Work alongside wealth advisors to help implement tax strategies that complement clients’ broader financial plans
  • Build strong client relationships by providing reliable tax advice and being a consistent point of contact for planning and compliance needs
  • Review and sign complex tax returns—individual, fiduciary, and small business—with attention to accuracy and alignment with client goals
  • Assist in coordinating tax planning activities, including quarterly estimates, projections, and year-end strategies
  • Contribute to process improvements by identifying efficiencies and supporting the adoption of new tools and workflows
  • Communicate clearly and effectively through client emails, technical memos, and planning documents
  • Promote collaboration between tax and wealth teams by fostering open communication and shared client understanding
What You Need To Have
  • Active CPA or EA license is required

Travel Requirements

Compensation

The base salary range for this role in Indianapolis, IN is $123,000- $163,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Salary range may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
