Job summary

Hantz Group in Maumee, OH is seeking a Tax Intern to join the Family Office. You will work closely with CPAs, Accountants, and Financial Advisors to gain hands-on experience in tax accounting and tax projections.

Flexible hours allow you to balance work with your degree, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. This internship provides exposure to tax planning, client service, and compliance under the guidance of the Tax Team.

Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Strong sense of professional and personal accountability.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Highly motivated and a self‑starter.
  • Strong leadership qualities and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • In pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Intentions of completing Enrolled Agent and/or Certified Public Accountant license.
  • Ability to obtain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).

Responsibilities
