Job summary

Compeer Financial seeks a Tax Services Associate to support tax preparation, planning, and consulting under the guidance of a Senior Tax Consultant. You will build relationships with clients and collaborate with the Tax and Accounting team to deliver services.

The role emphasizes hybrid work with up to 50% remote options and requires strong communication, accuracy, and a proactive approach to handle multiple client deadlines across accounting and tax tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or equivalent
• 1+ year tax preparation experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work evenings and weekends to meet deadlines
• Travel may be required for on-farm services and meetings

Responsibilities

• Provide tax preparation, planning and consulting support under mentoring of Senior Tax Consultant
• Maintain a portfolio of tax clients and meet deadlines
• Assist with accounting processing and reporting under GAAP
• Develop knowledge of Compeer products and services
• Market and cross-sell Compeer offerings to clients
