Job summary

Milestone Advisors in Salt Lake City seeks an experienced Tax Partner to oversee complex tax compliance, provide strategic planning, manage clients and staff, and ensure adherence to local and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of tax accounting experience.
• Active CPA license.
• Experience with leading tax software and bookkeeping software.
• Knowledge of Federal, State and Local tax codes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and client management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns, including individuals, S‑Corp, and partnerships.
• Supervise preparation of simple and complex returns and oversee major filings.
• General accounting and bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online.
• Individually manage client relationships and engagement timing.
• Collaborate with leadership on large client engagements and solutions.
• Assist with tax planning, compliance, and onboarding new clients.
