Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC in Houston, TX seeks a Tax Partner to lead a large, globally staffed tax practice. This opportunity offers executive visibility, significant leadership autonomy, and a path to grow a middle-market tax business through acquisitions and client expansion.

You will guide tax strategy, drive profitability, and manage client relationships while shaping the firm’s direction and integration efforts across mergers and acquisitions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Experience serving middle-market companies up to $500M in revenue.
• Previous Partner or Principal-level leadership experience.
• Proven background leading and managing tax departments or teams.
• Track record of business development and revenue generation.
• Portable book of business strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global tax team of approximately 50 professionals.
• Serve as technical reviewer for tax engagements and client deliverables.
• Drive department performance, profitability, and operational excellence.
• Develop new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
• Support integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitions.
• Advise middle-market clients on complex tax matters and strategic initiatives.
