CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) invites applications for an Internal Operations Intern in the Milwaukee/Madison/Racine area. The role supports tax document processing, intake, and delivery, with a January 2027 start and an April 2027 end date.

The internship is preferred full-time, but part-time arrangements (minimum 20 hours/week) may be offered. The position requires progress toward a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, willingness to learn, MS Windows/MS Office proficiency, reliable

Qualifications

• Working toward a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to client workflows.
• Proficient with MS Windows and MS Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and organizes client incoming tax documents.
• Assists with intake of tax information and prepares for routing.
• Ensures all client documents are tracked and kept current.
• Organizes, scans and processes tax documents.
• Assembles client tax returns following established procedures.
• Assists team in meeting government deadlines.
• E-filing and other final delivery steps.
• Assists with preparation of informational tax documents.
• Provides general operational support as needed.
