  • Monitor deadlines and filing requirements to ensure timely completion of tax engagements.
  • Communicate proactively with state and federal agencies to achieve timely and accurate results.
  • Coordinate signatures, payments, and tax return filings.
  • Lead complex projects from start to finish, including tracking and management of tax-related correspondence.
  • Oversee annual business licenses and compliance filings, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Act as primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders with professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with tax professionals to keep projects on schedule.
  • Translate Tax team needs into clear requirements for dashboards, tools, reports, and processes.
  • Test, document, and support the adoption of new tax technology tools and automated workflows.

The Crown Is Yours As a Tax Operations Coordinator

you will contribute significantly to the company's success by providing essential administrative support to the Tax team. In this role, you will utilize your project management and organizational skills to create efficiencies, streamline compliance and tax operations, and communicate effectively with stakeholders both internally and externally. What you’ll do as a Tax Operations Coordinator
  • Collaborate with compliance, licensing, legal, and accounting teams, as well as external consultants, to navigate tax-related challenges and resolve inquiries effectively.

What you’ll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Technology, Project Management, Accounting or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience, preferably in a compliance, finance, or tax environment; prior experience with project management is a plus.
  • Well-organized and strong attention to detail, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, often under challenging time constraints.
  • A strong interest in tax technology, artificial intelligence, workflow automation, data visualization, and process improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently as part of a fast-growing team.
  • An eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment and confidently work with others.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to become licensed is required; must be 21 years or older.

We’re a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. The US base salary range for this full-time position is 61,600.00 USD - 77,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable.

Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
