Tax Operations Analyst – Entry Level

Salt Lake City, UT – Onsite

$47-55K/year

Are you detail-oriented with an interest in compliance, documentation, or financial operations? We’re hiring a Tax Reporting Analyst to support the tax operations function of a global financial institution. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with U.S. tax forms, client documentation, and regulatory processes across multiple business lines.

You'll work alongside teams supporting Global Banking & Markets, Asset & Wealth Management, and other divisions, helping to ensure accuracy in tax reporting, documentation, and client servicing.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Reviewing U.S. tax documentation (W-9, W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E, etc.) for completeness and compliance
• Responding to client and internal inquiries related to tax documentation and withholdingAssisting with operational support for client onboarding and documentation reviews
• Identifying and resolving breaks or exceptions in documentation workflows
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate information reporting
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience or strong interest in tax, finance, accounting, or compliance
• Sharp attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Solid communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Ability to prioritize deadlines while managing multiple tasks
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• A proactive, self-starting mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  
  

Bonus Points For

• Degree in accounting, finance, or business
• Familiarity with W-9/W-8 tax forms or KYC processes
• Exposure to tools like SQL or Alteryx
