Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Tax Operations Analyst to support the Tax Documentation team in maintaining consistent, well-controlled practices across the investment bank. You will handle collection, validation, and maintenance of client tax documentation, ensuring compliance with IRS guidelines and Citi?

regulatory requirements. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders, validate W-8/W-9 forms, support onboarding/remediation activities, and contribute to continuous improvements in tax

Qualifications

• Understanding and validating US W-8 and W-9 tax documentation.
• Supporting onboarding and remediation activities driven by regulatory changes.
• Applying a basic understanding of financial products within the investment banking industry.
• Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, sales teams, and onboarding partners.
• Using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook in a collaborative, team focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution across business areas.
• Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks.
• Develop reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Identify industry trends to implement best practices in banking operations.
• Participate in projects to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
