Your Future Team

Williams & Nulle is a well‑established CPA firm founded in 1952, with a long-standing presence in Northwest Washington and a strong reputation for trusted, relationship‑driven client service. For decades, the firm has supported individuals, families, and closely held businesses with comprehensive tax, accounting, and advisory services, taking a practical and personalized approach to each client’s unique needs.

The firm is known for its hands‑on service model, working closely with business owners and individuals on tax compliance and planning, financial reporting, business consulting, and long‑term financial strategy. With deep local knowledge and a commitment to clear communication, Williams & Nulle has built lasting client relationships grounded in technical expertise, reliability, and responsiveness.

In 2025, Williams & Nulle joined Archer Lewis, forming WN Advisory, an Archer Lewis firm. This partnership allows the team to preserve its local culture and client‑first philosophy while gaining access to expanded resources, broader advisory capabilities, modern technology platforms, and a national network of specialists. Together, the combined firm delivers the personalized service of a community‑based CPA practice with the scale, support, and growth opportunities of a larger organization.

What You’ll Do

You will serve as a key strategic leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax compliance, reporting, planning, and tax strategy for the firm and its clients. You will provide hands‑on leadership in a small CPA firm environment, actively participating in client engagements and collaborating closely with firm leadership. You will guide and mentor staff, improve tax processes, and deliver thoughtful, personalized tax solutions. Your ability to balance strategic oversight with direct client service will be essential as you help drive high‑quality outcomes and strengthen long‑term client relationships.

  • Ensure compliance across entity types including C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and individuals
  • Monitor filing deadlines, review returns and workpapers, and maintain strong quality control standards
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies for business owners and high‑net‑worth individuals, including entity structuring, transactions, and projections
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on complex tax matters and oversee technical tax research and documentation
  • Track changes in tax legislation and communicate implications to clients and internal teams
  • Manage federal and state tax audits, acting as the primary liaison with taxing authorities and guiding clients through resolution and appeals
  • Oversee income tax provisions under ASC 740, including deferred taxes, uncertain tax positions, and audit coordination
  • Identify and implement process improvements and leverage tax technology to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and data management
