Clark Schaefer Hackett seeks a Tax Manager to act as trusted advisor to clients, leading engagements from planning through delivery. You will review returns, conduct tax research, and develop proactive strategies while mentoring developing professionals.

Qualifications

• CPA, EA, CA, or similar professional designation.
• Public accounting tax experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Strong technical tax, research, and planning expertise.
• Experience managing client relationships and complex engagements.
• A passion for developing others and delivering exceptional client service.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex tax engagements from planning through delivery.
• Review tax returns, tax research, and consulting projects.
• Help clients develop proactive tax strategies and minimize tax exposure.
• Serve as a primary advisor and relationship manager for clients.
• Coach, mentor, and develop tax professionals.
• Manage multiple engagements, budgets, and timelines.
• Identify opportunities to bring additional value to clients and strengthen relationships.
