H. T. PROF Group is actively hiring a Tax Manager to support our Southeast–based client base with individual and business taxation. Flexible locations are available in the Carolinas, Georgia, and surrounding areas, with potential for remote start while relocating.

The role requires 3+ years of public accounting experience; CPA or EA is preferred. The firm offers partnership opportunities, competitive compensation, and relocation benefits as part of a growth plan.

Qualifications

• CPA or EA in progress is preferred.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience handling individual and business taxation.
• Strong knowledge of current tax laws and regulatory changes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a group of clients and provide client services in the areas of individual and business taxation.
• Manage project deadlines and plan appropriately with associates and senior associates.
• Coordinate with the team members on all phases of the Tax engagement.
• Review mostly business (and some Individual) tax returns and provide timely and constructive feedback.
• Keep current on tax law changes and accounting related developments and best practices.
• Work with team members for continual process improvement.
• Participate in practice development and various firm activities.
• Develop an area of tax specialization.
