We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Tax Managerto join our Trust & Estate Tax team within our National Tax practice!

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

YOUR TEAM.

This position is situated within our National Tax Team and will focus on Trust & Estate work, along with the potential to help with 1040/1041 work as well. You will partner with other technical experts within the tax field and have the opportunity to learn and develop at a rapid pace!

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Review gift, estate and fiduciary income tax returns for the T&E Group
  • Handle PCS Tax functions (personal, partnership and S Corp tax returns) as needed
  • Review fiduciary accounting for trusts and estates
  • Provide tax planning and consulting tohigh net worth cli ents for estate and individual income taxes;
  • Haveresponsibility for managing all aspects of client relationships.
  • Manage a team of professionals within the group to complete engagements from start to finish. .

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor'sdegree in Accounting; Master's in Tax is a plus
  • CPA, LLM or JD is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive tax experience with trusts and estates, as well as high net worth clients
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a public accounting firm
  • Ability to lead, manage and develop staff in a highly interactive team environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills
