Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and advisory work from Cincinnati, OH. You will guide clients through complex federal, state, and local tax issues while building lasting relationships and delivering strategic tax solutions.

You’ll supervise Tax Seniors and Staff, manage engagement timelines and budgets, and collaborate with partners to expand services in a collegial, growth‑oriented firm.

Qualifications

• CPA license strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience.
• Strong experience preparing and reviewing complex federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local taxation.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
• Strong client relationships and leadership abilities.
• Experience mentoring tax professionals.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage tax compliance and consulting engagements for a variety of clients.
• Review complex federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to individuals and businesses.
• Research and resolve complex tax issues.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding tax strategies, compliance, and planning opportunities.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop Tax Seniors and Staff.
• Manage engagement timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and provide additional services.
• Stay current on changes in federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Collaborate with partners, managers, and other service lines to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
