Job summary

BLS is seeking experienced professionals to manage multiple tax and accounting client engagements, including scheduling, staffing, workflow coordination, and driving profitability. The firm highlights growth opportunities, competitive salary, and flexible hours, with limited travel.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA, and 7–9 years in tax within public accounting. The hybrid schedule is available, and remuneration will reflect experience and credentials.

Qualifications

• Maintaining contact with clients and thorough knowledge of the client and client's business
• Preparing or performing technical tax review of tax returns of any complexity
• Demonstrating an ability to supervise and prioritize simultaneous engagements, including appropriate delegation of duties
• Reviewing changes in work performed from prior years, considering changes in client's accounting procedures and making adjustments to comply with changes in tax laws or accounting pronouncements
• Resolving accounting problems and tax issues
• Preparing invoices to clients and communicating details of fees
• Reviewing staff qualifications and assignments for appropriateness
• Mentoring and developing new staff on assignments

Responsibilities

• Review workpapers and tax returns and develop new business.
• Manage multiple tax and accounting client engagements.
• Coordinate staffing and workflow to ensure profitability and timely delivery.
